Dear Mr.John Young,

We would like to inform you about International Competition

"FUTURE VISION of KYOTO for the 21st CENTURY".

Due to various civilizational and historic transformations expected in future, the uncertainties concerning cities become stronger. Therefore the idea of this competition is to search for excellent proposals in Japan and abroad which by focusing on the special urban characteristics of Kyoto in the context of the 21st century trends, will be able to bear the judgment of history in a 50-100 years prospect.

Language Use: English or Japanese
Entries: A Panel or A Booklet (a Paper)
Awards: $B!! (The prize total 20 million yen (5 excellence prizes of 3 million yen each are scheduled)
